Hourly Wage: $20.00 an Hour
Summary:
The Building Maintenance Worker is responsible for the buildings internal and external upkeep.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- General maintenance- electrical and plumbing.
- Physical repairs inclusive of painting, spackling etc.
- Cleaning – internal and external.
- Applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems.
- Ensure facilities are tidy and functional as well as monitor the facilities daily.
- Ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well maintained.
- Handperson experience a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A valid Driver’s License- Driving record must meet company requirements.
- Satisfactorily completes all aspects of the pre-employment process administered by and /or for Empress Ambulance Service, LLC. inclusive of drug screening/background check.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Work Environment:
Works outdoors and indoors during inclement weather. Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions and to blood/body fluids, requires respirator use, fumes/odors, extended day, and temperature changes. Exposure and use of cleaning chemicals.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand or walk more than 2/3 of the time.
- Sit less than 1/3 of the time.
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel 75% of time.
- Reach with hands and arms 75% of time.
- Reach overhead with hands and arms.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, climb or balance.
- Talk or hear 50% of time.
- Carry / Lift /Push/Pull up.
